Betty Ruth (Vaughan) Somers

Mrs. Betty Ruth Vaughan Somers, 81, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House.

Funeral service will be held today, December 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Reverend Roger Motsinger officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Westminster Gardens.

Betty was a graduate of Hillsville High School and had retired from C.C.B. Bank after 20 years of service.  She enjoyed spending her free time bowling and square dancing with her friends.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, William Somers; daughter, Tammy Lota (Todd); sister, Carolyn Beers (Lloyd); and niece, Jennifer.

The family will receive friends today beginning at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
