Bill Underwood

William (Bill) Underwood, 70 of Pleasant Garden passed away on Saturday, August 19th at Camden Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 22nd at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church in Greensboro. A visitation prior to the service will be held at 2:30 pm with the funeral service to follow at 4pm.  Graveside service will be held at Guilford Memorial Park.  The family will be receiving friends at other times at the home of Mike Underwood in Climax.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Pearl Hackett Underwood and his sister Shirley Turner.

Bill was an avid lover of the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish and work outside. He was an active member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church. Bill was a diehard Carolina Tarheels fan.

Those left to cherish his memory are Rebecca (Becky) Fine Underwood, son Mike Underwood and wife Leann of Climax. Along with their children:  Brooke, Madison, Tyler, Summer and Nathan. Daughter Amanda Cook and husband Chris of Greensboro. Along with their children: Kiersten, Katelyn and Kourtney.  Betty Wilkins of Greensboro the sister of Bill Underwood .
