Carolyn Ann (Stanley) Wood

Carolyn Ann Wood, 73, of Greensboro died Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be 7:00 PM Monday, January 6, 2020 at George Brothers Funeral Service. Burial will be private at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Carolyn was born in Guilford County to the late Thurston and Doris Stanley. She retired from AIG Insurance Company. Carolyn was known as an accomplished gardener. She grew both flowers and vegetables.

Along with her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by a brother, Gary Stanley.

She is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Timothy (Tim) B. Wood; sons, Alex Glenn Wood and Curtis Lee Wood (Susan); and brothers, Bobby Stanley (Janet), Thomas Stanley, Donald Stanley (Lisa), and Richard Stanley (Angela).

The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
