Carroll Steed Hodgin

Mrs. Carroll Steed Hodgin, age 82, died on May 26, 2018 at her home.  Carroll was born September 22, 1935 in Randolph County, NC to the late Ethel Small Steed and James Ray Steed.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at Rehobeth United Methodist Church with Reverend Rick Marson officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Guilford Memorial Park.

Carroll loved to travel with her husband, Bynum “Sonny” Hodgin and garden, especially caring for her flowers.  Most important of all, Carroll loved her husband of 64 years and their family.  Carroll loved nothing more than a house full of family, especially any occasion when they could all be together.  Carroll was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church.

Carroll is survived by her husband, Bynum “Sonny” Hodgin; daughters, Cindy Lambe and husband Billy, Jill Murray and husband Michael, Lisa McCraw and husband John, and Amy Allen and husband Jerry; sons, Keith Hodgin and wife Laura, Michael Hodgin and wife Debbie, Kim Hodgin and wife Charlene, and Patrick Hodgin and wife Eliane, all of Greensboro, NC; nineteen loving grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Patsy Hussey and husband Jimmy, of Danville, VA.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning from 10:00-11:00 am at the church prior to the service.
