Charles William Lee

Mr. Charles William Lee, 81, of Greensboro, went home to be with his Savior on July 30, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday at Sharpe Road Baptist Church with Dr. Barry Nealy and Dr. Alton Cook officiating. The burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Mr. Lee was born August 18, 1935, in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late William Lee and Mildred Redman Dent. He was a faithful member of Sharpe Road Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and former Sunday School teacher. He was retired from VF Corporation after 28 years of service as senior traffic analyst.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Carol Trumbull Lee of Greensboro; his three daughters, Lisa Lee Kody (Jack) of Greensboro, Marya Lee Ryals (Jeff) of Jamestown and Laura Mae Lee of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Abby Kody of Raleigh, Luke Kody (Hannah) of Greensboro, David Kody (Noemi) of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Anna Kody Johnson (Brandon) of Greensboro and Shelley Ryals of Jamestown; his five great grandchildren; and his siblings, Gail Dent Flowers (Leonard), Richard Meador (Judy) and the late George Meador.

The family will receive friends at Sharpe Road Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 6:00-7:30pm on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sharpe Road Baptist Church or to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro.
