Charles Emery "C.E." Osborne, Jr.

Mr. Charles Emery “C.E.”  Osborne, Jr., 81, of Pleasant Garden, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020, at his home.

The family will be receiving friends at George Brothers Funeral Service on Friday, January 17, from 5-7:00pm.

C.E. was born October 22, 1938, in Guilford County to the late Charles “Emery” Osborne, Sr. and Edith Gray Osborne. He graduated from Pleasant Garden High School in 1956. He was an award winning athlete that continued playing football and baseball at Guilford College and later coaching local PeeWee Football teams. Along with athletics, he was an avid outdoorsman. His fondest memories were of hunting deer with his father and son. C.E. retired from Thermal Controls in Greensboro after 30 years of service and was a Birth-Right Member of Centre Friends Meeting.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Geraldine Coble Osborne; son, Charles Emery “Chip” Osborne, III and his fiancé, Jill Turner and her son, Cade Turner; daughter, Tammy Osborne Faulk and her husband, Daniel and granddaughter, Lauren Greigh Osborne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Randolph. The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to them for their care and help during this time.
