Clifton Thomas Smith

Clifton Thomas Smith, known as Tommy, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 5, 2018.

Memorial Service will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Tommy was born in Guilford County to Clifton Pitt Smith and Florence Wray Smith. He loved people, especially friends at Pinecroft-Sedgefield Fire Department; friends from Central Carolina Boat Club at High Rock Lake; and friends made while co-owner of 220 Auto Parts on Randleman Road.

Along with his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by his sisters, Edna Robbins, Hilda Price Evers and Nina Harville.

He is survived by his wife, Faye; son, Mark and wife, Lisa; granddaughter, Shelby Nicole Smith; brother, Claude Smith and wife Pat; sister, Becky Steed and husband, Wayne; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in memory of Clifton be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
