Clyde Thomas Seay

Mr. Clyde Thomas Seay, 63, passed away December 30, 2019, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday at Burnett’s Chapel United Methodist Church where he was a member, trustee and member of the United Methodist Men. Pastor Ed Armfield will be officiating the service. The burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Clyde was born March 17, 1956, in Travelers Rest, SC, to the late Clyde and Jeanette Seay. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Gerald Seay and step brothers, Raymond Ayers and Troy William Ayers, Jr. Clyde was employed with J. N. Mayberry and Sons.

He is survived by his daughter, Devin Nowlin and honorary daughter, Jennifer Ayers; sister, Joyce Doggett and husband, James; brothers, Eddie Seay and Billy Ayers; sister-in-law, Donna Seay; grandchildren, Joshua and Miranda Pummill and step sisters, Margie Holder, Mary Sue Williamson and Sharron (Punkin) Ayers.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to Burnett’s Chapel United Methodist Church General Fund.
