David Warren Gaither

Mr. David Warren Gaither, 63, of Greensboro, passed away on January 25, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday at Westminster Gardens.

David was born August 13, 1956, in Greensboro to the late Willie Leo and Hilda G. Gaither. He was also preceded in death by his aunt, Barbara G. Bishop. David was employed with International Paper, formerly XPEDX, for 29 years. During his time there, he had a record of perfect attendance. He enjoyed many things especially NASCAR, flower gardening, motorcycles and music. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

David is survived by his sister, Cathey Gaither Oakley (Joe) of Walkertown; brother, Duanne Grantham (Brenda) of Greensboro; his daughter, Stormy Gail Sumner of Mt. Airy and her mother, Donna; niece, Mandi Nicole Meadows; his nephew, Matthew Meadows and great nephew, Austyn Winfree.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the residents and staff of Alpine Rehabilitation of Asheboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Hospice of Randolph County.
