Earlene (Smith) Padgett

Mrs. Earlene Smith Padgett, 88, passed away at her home Monday evening February 5, 2018 with her family by her side.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park with Pastor Doug Huff officiating.

Earlene’s lifelong love and interest was for her family, and she was always giving to others before caring for herself.

Mrs. Padgett is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Connor Warbritton (David); son, John Connor (Pam); son, Larry Connor (Amanda); son, Michael Padgett; daughter, Ruth Roberson (Harold); son, Donald Padgett (Brenda); granddaughter, Angela Phillips (John); great-grandchildren, Bennett, Weston, and Johnathan; sister, Ada German; brother, Bobby Smith (Janice); sister in law, Doris Smith; as well as many other family members and friends whom she loved.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro 2500 Summitt Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.  The family gratefully acknowledges the wonderful and compassionate care given by Hospice staff Patti, Lakeish, Whitney, Chris, Carlos, Tina, and Teresa.
