Eric Allen Russell

Mr. Eric “Little E” Allen Russell, passed away March 7, 2018, at his residence.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm on Saturday at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Sunday at George Brothers Funeral Service. The burial will follow at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 6103 Appomattox Road, Climax, NC 27233.

Eric was born December 30, 1988, in Guilford County. He volunteered with the Level Cross Fire Department where he received his level 1 & 2 certifications. He also received his EMT certification in February of 2007.  Eric will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Stephen Clarence Russell and Sara Yates Matherly; his siblings, Bradley Keith Russell and Stephen Lee Matherly; Great Aunt, Louise Bowman; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family of the fire department. Eric was preceded in death by his grandmother and best friend, Martha Coble Wood and paternal grandparents, Denzel Russell, Raymond and Martha Yates.
