Guy Eugene Patterson, Jr. "Fatty"

Guy Patterson, Jr, born August 12, 1979, died Tuesday morning, September 18, as the result of a car accident.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018 at New Bessemer Baptist Church, with burial following at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Guy Jr graduated from Eastern Guilford High School where he played baseball and football. He worked with King Electric in Burlington, NC.  Guy loved his children, family, the 49ers, and everyone he met.

The family is sustained by their faith in Christ and comforted that Guy, Jr. accepted Christ as a teenager. While Guy battled for many years with addiction, he never gave up his fight to regain his life from the disease that devastates so many. The family urges anyone who needs help to reach out to providers that can help them.
 

Guy Jr. is survived by his three sons, Noah, Chaseton and Coleton; his parents Guy Sr. and Judy; his sister Missy; fiancé Penelope Pierce; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018, at the church.
