Harvey "Ray" Woodell Obituary
Mr. Harvey “Ray” Woodell passed away April 13, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital.
A celebration of life service will be held 4:00 pm Friday at George Brothers Funeral Service with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
Ray was born in Greensboro, where he spent most of his life. He served in the United States Army for two years, retired, in 2008, as a HVAC technician, and most recently he worked with Gate City Security.
Ray was loved by many, and always enjoyed life.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Meredith Margaret Woodell.
Ray is survived by his wife Rhonda Woodell; son Barry Woodell; daughters Sandy Gunnell and April Kerans; sisters Janice Wilkerson, Myra Norton, and Joyce Reed; grandchildren Cody Woodell, Jake Woodell, Leah Gunnell, Johnathan Kerans, Ella Kerans, and Noah Woodell.
