Irvin "Steve" Henderson

Mr. Irvin “Steve” Henderson, 81, of Greensboro, passed away March 27, 2018, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am Friday at George Brothers Funeral Service. The burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Steve was born April 8, 1936, in King, NC, to the late Frank and Odessa Mabry Henderson. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Curtis Packing Company with 50 years of service. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Peggy Tuttle and Dorothy Scott and his brother, Eugene Henderson.

Steve is survived by his wife, Thelma Wilkins Henderson; his daughter, Tamara Snuffer (Mike); step-son, Ronnie Sams (Linda); grandchildren, Mikayla Snuffer, Jason Sams (Constance) and Jeremy Sams (Crystal); great grandchildren, Aaron, Ashleigh, Eliora and Evaelia and his sister, Lovie Mae Dorsett.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
