James Edward Meyers

James (Stretch) Meyers, 42 of Greensboro North Carolina passed away on September 14th, 2018 peacefully at Moses Cone hospital surrounded by his loving family.

A celebration of life service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

James was born in Greensboro North Carolina on August 30th, 1976. He attended Southeast Guilford High School. James worked in the HVAC business for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, everything Halloween, loved animals, and spending time with his family and friends. 

He will be deeply missed.

James is survived by wife Kelly Meyers, His two children Rebecca Meyers, and James Meyers Jr, Step son Troy Landers, Grandson Mason Copeland, His father James Meyers, and Step Mother Lorie Meyers. Grandmother Juanita McMahon, Sister Anita Holder, and brother John Meyers, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and numerous loving friends.

James is preceded in death by his Mother Cathy McMahon, His grandmother Clara Meyers, grandfather Isom Meyers, and Grandfather Robert McMahon. 

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Friends and family are also invited to 3000 Shady Lawn Dr Greensboro NC, 27408 following the service for a gathering.
