Jo Ann McIntyre Danley, 77, died Thursday, June 21, 2018, at her home, surrounded by family and the tender care of Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Rehobeth United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Jo Ann was born on March 15, 1941 in Guilford County to the late Carl Lee McIntyre and Eva Jane Gerringer McIntyre. She was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church since 1951; belonged to the Adult Sunday School Class and Edna Vernon Circle, serving as secretary and in the nursery. She was employed with Burlington Industries for over 25 years, Joe Thomas Trucking, and Gilbarco for 12 years.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harold Benston Danley; son, Brian Lee Danley and wife Lucy Rose Danley; brother, Wayne McIntyre and wife Sharon; grandchildren, Rebecca Loggins Beane and Rachel Loggins; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Bailee, and Caleb Beane; nephews, Chad McIntyre, Mark Danley and Matt Danley; nieces, Chanel McIntyre Haugh, Jennifer Christensen, and Mandy Stevens; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Faucette, and Mary Beth Danley; and many great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the Family Life Center at Rehobeth United Methodist Church.
