John Calvin Pugh

Mr. John Calvin Pugh, 77, of Greensboro, went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2019.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Grace Baptist Temple, 5150 Woody Mill Road, Greensboro, with Pastor Greg Gamble and Pastor Mike Qualls officiating. The burial will follow at the church cemetery.

John was born September 23, 1941, in Guilford County, to the late Dewey and Rosa Kimbel Pugh. He was formerly employed with Founders Furniture in Pleasant Garden and Curtis Packaging in Greensboro. He was a faithful, charter member of Grace Baptist Temple.

John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Ann Pugh; his daughters, Kimbel Pearson (Dwight), Teresa King, Wendy Carol Qualls (Mike), Patricia Beatson (Chris) and Jennifer Jones (Casey). He is also survived by his 11 Grandchildren and his 12 Great Grandchildren and his best friend since grade school, Tony Rickman.

The family will receive friends 6-9:00pm Tuesday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
