Mrs. Juanita Newnam Douglas, 82, died Monday January 14, 2019 at Wesley Long Hospital
A graveside inurnment will be 2:00pm Wednesday, January 23, at Guilford Memorial Park.
Mrs. Douglas retired from K-Mart. She was a Christian and loved the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Taylor and Elizabeth Mabe Newnam; sister Alma Newnam Blackwell.
She is survived by her husband Archie Lee Douglas, Sr; step-children Archie Douglas, Junior, Gloria, and Barbara; sisters Martha Newnam Hand (Ray) of Greensboro, and Mary Belle Richardson of Madison. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff Guilford County Metro 911, Guilford County EMS, and the staff of Wesley Long Hospital for the care that was given to Mrs. Douglas.
