Laura Jayne (Boyles) Lilly

Mrs. Laura Jayne Boyles Lilly, 50, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service with Mickey Atkinson officiating.  Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lilly was preceded in death by her father, J. Ralph Boyles and brother, Scotty Boyles.

Laura was a 1985 graduate of Southern Guilford High School, and went on to be a hairdresser.  The most important thing in her life was her children, and she always enjoyed being involved with their sporting and dance activities.  When she was younger she enjoyed playing the piano in multiple churches and events, was a member of Pinecroft Baptist Church, loved to garden and cook, and found happiness in serving the sick and elderly.

Laura is survived by her husband of almost 9 years, Rick Lilly; children, Gavin Boyles and Alyssa Wise; mother, Ann Allred Boyles; brother, Terry Boyles (Michelle); sister in law, Mary Sutton Boyles; niece, Amber Boyles Stephens (Josh); nephew, Tanner Boyles (Liz); grand niece, Clara Mae Stephens; a host of cousins; and many other family members and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service.
