Lawrence Rice Obituary
Mr. Lawrence B. Rice, 91, of Greensboro, passed away October 20, 2019, at his home.
A graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Jerry Strader officiating.
Mr. Rice was born September 7, 1928, in Madison County, NC, to the late Roy and Ellen Rice. He was a longtime member of Lebanon Baptist Church for more than fifty years. Mr. Rice was an industrial engineer and was retired from Industries of the Blind. He was also a United States Navy veteran serving in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sue Rice; daughter, Terry Rice Williams and Tim Hollandsworth and his two precious granddaughters, Lauren and Autumn Williams.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at George Brothers Funeral Service and other times at the home of Terry Williams.
