Linda Purcell Forrest

Linda Purcell Forrest, 74, of Greensboro, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 1, 2019.

A memorial service will be held 2:00p.m. Saturday at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12-2:00.

Linda was born December 24, 1944, in Guilford County and was a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Frankie Forrest; her children, Lisa Shelton, David Shelton (Mary Beth), and Greg Shelton (Beth); her nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; brother, Wayne Purcell and her beloved pet dog, “Kayla”.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Knoll Baptist Church or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro. The family would like to extend a special thank you to hospice and especially to Tanya, Keisha, and Anne.
