Mabel Elizabeth Carroll

Mabel Elizabeth Frazier Carroll, 74 of Greensboro NC, passed away on February 13, 2019. 

The graveside service will be held at Burnett’s Chapel at 1201 Burnett’s Chapel Road Greensboro, NC 27406 at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 17, 2019. 

Mabel was born in Greensboro, NC on July 31, 1944. She attended Sumner high school. 

Mabel was married to the love of her life, Don Carroll on August 25, 1968. They were married for 50 years. 

Mabel worked as a hairdresser for 40 years and a truck driver for 10 years. The one thing she always wanted people to know is she loved the Lord. Mabel adored her family and was an active member of Rehobeth Baptist Church. Grandma, as she was known to most was the epitome of joy. She will be remembered by so many special friends as she never met a stranger. She was a big kid at heart and loved to play pranks and tell stories. She loved playing with her great grandbabies as they were the absolute light of her life. She always came bearing gifts and her family never doubted her love. Her testimony and love for Jesus radiated from her infectious smile. Her small stature could not contain her huge heart. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Don; son, Donnie (Nancy); grandchildren, Matthew (Lindsay) and Heather (Chris) Adkins; four amazing great grandchildren whom she loved so dearly, Grayson, Riley, Abram, and Jase; sister, Mildred (Bobby) Jackson; nephews, Del (Julie) Jackson, Theron (Kim) Jackson; niece, Monica (Wayne) Jones and many special great nieces and nephews. 

Mabel is proceeded in death by her late father and mother Carl and Ava Frazier and many, many beloved aunts and uncles. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry at 1179 Almonesson Road. Westville, NJ 08093.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
