Maria Jacqueline Lucas-Lopez

Maria Jacqueline Lucas-Lopez aged 17 years, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.  Maria was preceded in death by her sister, Eugenia “Gina” Lucas-Lopez and is survived by her parents, Juventino Lucas and Eugenia Lopez, sisters Reyna Yaneth Lucas-Lopez, Dulce Milagros Lucas-Lopez, Allyson Jocelyn Lucas-Lopez and a host of relatives, friends and caretakers.

Maria was a blessing to many and well loved by all those who knew and cared for her.  She touched the lives of numerous people with her incredible sense of humor, infectious laugh and amazing smile.  Maria was a miracle child mostly due to the excellent care she received from her mother.  She enjoyed all things musical; TV, movies, people singing and people dancing.  Maria is dearly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
