Mark Edwards Funkhouser

Mark Edwards Funkhouser, 64, passed away on Friday July 20th, 2018 in Greensboro, NC.  He was born July 1st, 1954 to Loraine Edwards and Cecil Eugene Funkhouser in Anderson, Indiana.

Mark enjoyed long walks with his dogs, Maverick and Goldie. He was also fond of the NC Outer Banks, golfing, and U.S. history.  Mark was very patriotic, often wearing blue and white shoes with red laces, representing the USA.  He was exceptionally fond of his two daughters Jennifer Diane Funkhouser and Elana Funkhouser Berry.

Survivors include his girlfriend Nancy Jackson of Greensboro; his daughter Jennifer Funkhouser and Ben Karb of Charlotte; Elana and husband Will Berry of Greensboro; and dog Maverick.

A time of gathering will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11am at First Moravian Church, 304 S Elam Ave, Greensboro, NC 27403.
