Marssteller Thomas Armstrong

Marssteller Thomas Armstrong, 65, of Greensboro died Saturday, May 5, 2018.

Funeral will be 1:45 PM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Prayer, Praise and Deliverance Church, 2101 Freeman Mill Road with Bishop W. C. Kendall and Elder Barbara Purcell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Marssteller is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Rosa Bell Thomas and a brother, Larry Thomas.

Marssteller was formerly employed with the Greensboro City Schools until she joined her husband as co-owner of L and A Construction. She was a member of Freewill Pentecostal Church on Martin Luther King Junior Drive.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory husband, Elder Luther Armstrong, Sr.; daughters, Michelle, Temeca, and Tredesha Armstrong; sons, Luther Jr. and Kelvin Armstrong; grandchildren, Markeese, Aljiane, Rakeem, Rasheed, Jemia, Taliyah, Sade, Tocorra, Zion, and Daniel; great granddaughter, Laila; siblings, Leroy Thomas, Jr., Flora Bell Thomas, Derald Jones, and David Lee Thomas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss her greatly.

The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service.
