Mary Elizabeth (Jefferson) Simmons

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Simmons, of Pleasant Garden died Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Randolph Hospice Home.

Funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at New Salem Baptist Church.  The family will then meet at 4:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Assembly of God church cemetery in Reidsville for final words and committal service.

Mrs. Simmons was born in Caswell County to the late James and Minnie Lee Jefferson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack William Simmons.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Joyce "Carol" Horner of Greensboro; son Ronald Keith Hall of Reidsville; sisters, Lorraine Massey, Susie Garner, Jeanette Emmons, and Judy Carter; brothers,  J. T. Jefferson and Harold Jefferson. Also surviving are Lisa Freeze, Amber Hanover, along with 5 other grandchildren; and Adam Freeze along with 6 other great-grandchildren.
