Michael Worth Coltrane

Mr. Mike Coltrane, 64, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at his home.

A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.

Mr. Coltrane was preceded in death by his parents, Battie and Annabell Coltrane; brother, Gregory Coltrane; and niece, Christie Coltrane.

Mike enjoyed working his land and garden, playing with his pets, watching NASCAR, and enjoying life.  Mike’s greatest joy was was his family and friends whom he loved, especially his grandchildren, and was deeply loved by them.

He survived by his wife of 16 years, Teresa Coltrane; daughter, Michelle Coltrane Weedman (Mark); son, Battie Lee Coltrane; daughter, Christy Evje (Jeremy); grandchildren, Annalise, Eleanor, Adelaide, and Josephine Weedman, and Mahkayla, Dakota, and Nicholas Barnet; brother, Tommy Coltrane (Lisa); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends whom he loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to an animal welfare group as a celebration of Mike’s love for all living creatures.
