Mildred E. Stanton

Mildred E. Stanton, age 87, of Greensboro, NC, went home to be with Jesus, May 29, 2017.

There will be a graveside service at Guilford Memorial Park at 2pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Elder David Brooks will officiate the service.

She fought a good fight, she finished her course, she kept the faith till the end.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was always willing to help where she could.

She leaves behind her beloved three sons; Don Oldham of Mississippi and wife Claudia, Mike Stanton of Pennsylvania, and Billy Stanton of the home; two precious grandsons, Dwayne Oldham and Christopher Stanton.

She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Evelyn.

The family will receive friends from 7-8pm Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at George Brothers Funeral Service and other times at the residence, 510 Tipperary Drive, Greensboro, NC.

Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory.
