Mr. Charles Ray Dalton

Mr. Charles Ray Dalton, age 67, passed away Monday September 23, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday at George Brothers Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Dalton was born in Guilford County to the late Lewis and Eva Stella Dalton.  He was an avid hobbyist who enjoyed tinkering in his building, with wood, metal, and clocks.  He always had a fascination with firearms and was a life-time member of the NRA as well as an avid supporter of the Second Amendment.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Glenna “Tinker” Dalton and step-son Michael Todd Bush.

Charles is survived by his son Daniel Dalton (Carolyn) of Greensboro; sisters Shirley “Diane” Shelton (Mike), Pamela Carol (Kenneth) , and Delores Isaacs (Roger) all of Kernersville.  Also surviving are his eight grandchildren Jordan, Lydia, Justus, Josiah, Jonas, Jaidon Joshua, and Judah Dalton
