Mr. Charles "Sonny" Beechie Smith, Jr.

Mr. Charles “Sonny” Smith, Jr., age 53, passed away Tuesday March 6, 2018 at his home.

A memorial service will be 2:00pm Sunday at Plainview Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Sonny was employed with Pallet Express for several years as a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Smith, and sister Creta Needham.

He is survived by his wife of eleven years Jamie Smith of McLeansville; step-sons Gavin Fox of the home, and Skylar Snow (Elizabeth) of Winston-Salem; grandson Gabriel Snow; father Rev. Charles Smith,  Sr. of Hinton, West Virginia; sister Carol Smith of Hinton, West Virginia.  Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members.
