Mr. James Carl Rodarte

Mr. James Carl Rodarte, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 22, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral service will be 2:00pm Monday at Living Waters Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park with full military honors provided by Randolph County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm at the church.

Mr. Rodarte attended Living Waters Baptist Church. He was a decorative Vietnam veteran while serving in the United States Army. He served in Vietnam for 3 ½ years with the L Company Rangers 75th Airborne Company.  While in the United States Army, he received three purple hearts, and a bronze star.

He was preceded in death by a his parents George and Marlee Parish Rodarte, and  brother Bobby Rodarte.

He is survived by his wife Dale Rodarte of Greensboro; daughter Tammy Sanchez (Matt) of McLeansville; sisters Loretta McLean, and Betty Fallon (Joe); grandchildren Phillip Craddock, Joshua Craddock, and Angela Sanchez (fiancé Justin Wheeley); great-grandson Austin Anthony Craddock.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
