Mr. Joseph Freeland, Jr.

Mr. Joseph Freeland, Jr., age 79, passed away Monday November 20, 2017 at the Hospice Home of the Piedmont in High Point, North Carolina. Joe was raised in Mobile, Alabama where he was married to his wife Patti for 36 years.

Mr. Freeland served his country in the United States Army, and was an avid gardener, NASCAR fan, and fishermen.

He is survived by his wife and children Cindy Arena, Susan Murphey, Larry Freeland, and Jenna Freeland; step-children Beverly Flynn, Bruce Waddell, Barry Waddell, and Brian Waddell. Also surviving  are siblings Ann Branum and Charlie and Jim Freeland, 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to First Baptist Church of Tillmans Corner, 5660 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619.
