Mr. June "Ray" Miller

Mr. June “Ray” Miller, Sr., age 76, of Brown Summit gained his wings on Thursday July 12, 2018.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday at George Brothers Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Ray was a devoted father and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf, and was an avid Carolina Tarheel Basketball fan and Redskins. He also enjoyed finding thrift store bargains.  He served his country honorably and faithfully from 1963 - 1966 in the United States Army, while serving in the Vietnam War.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents George and Mary Miller.

He is survived by his sons Ray Miller (Rhonda) of Brown Summit and Todd Miller of Eden.  Also surviving are two sisters, two brothers, six grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time, and other times at the home of Ray & Rhonda Miller.
