Mr. Robert Reid Stephens

Mr. Robert Reid Stephens, 58, passed away Wednesday January 2, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday, January 4, at George Brothers Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Stanley officiating the service.

Mr. Stephens was born in Guilford county on April 4, 1960.  He was a member of Gospel Roads Baptist Church, and retired from Procter & Gamble.  He loved working with his hands,  and would help anyone.  He always put others first before himself.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Stephens, and sister Jill Duncan.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Sharon Stephens of McLeansville; children Travis Reid Stephens (DeAnn), and Tracy Stephens Baldwin (Kevin) all of McLeansville; father Wendell Stephens (Carol) of Greensboro; sister Debbie Stephens McKinlay (Ross) of Madison.  He was adored by his grandchildren Justice Baldwin, Kacy Stephens, Tyra Stephens, Troy Stephens, Triston Baldwin, and Maggie Baldwin.

The family will receive friends 6:00pm-8:00pm Thursday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
