Mrs. Arline C. Miller

Mrs. Arline C. Miller, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Thanksgiving evening, Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Ashton Place.

Mrs. Miller was born on May 8, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Agnes (Langosch) Clark.

She was a lifelong Lutheran, currently a member of Coble’s Lutheran Church in Julian.

She is survived by her son, The Rev. Joseph A. Miller and his wife Marcia, of Julian; two grandsons, Jonathan Miller and his wife Felicia, of Salisbury; and David Miller and his wife Dr. Stacey Miller, of Greenville, NC. There are two great-granddaughters, Zoe Miller and Cheyenne Miller, of Salisbury.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, at 1 p.m. at Coble’s Lutheran Church in Julian. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28 at the church.

Memorials may be given in Arline’s memory in care of her son, Rev. Joseph Miller, or to the donor’s choice.
