Mrs. Betty Davis Wyrick, 86, passed away Wednesday April 18, 2018
A funeral service will be 2:00pm Sunday, April 22, at Rehobeth United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wyrick was born in Guilford county to the late Charles and Cora Little Davis. She was a lifelong member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir, and volunteered for many activities of the church, and Meals -On-Wheels. She also retired from Southeastern Eye Center after many years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years William “Larry” Wyrick, Sr., and granddaughter Jennifer Kochel.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Kochel (Michael); son, William “Billy” Wyrick, Jr. (Kim); daughter, Jody Roberts (Scott); sisters Frances Dean and Marie Winfrey; grandchildren, Jessica Conrad (Chad), Jeremy Kochel, William Wyrick, III (Jessica), Rachel Roberts, and Shelby Roberts; great-grandchildren, Karsyn, McKenna, and Tanner Conrad. Also surviving are host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends whom she loved.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm Saturday, April 21, at George Brothers Funeral Service, and following the service in the Rehobeth United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
