Ms. Jean Garrity Leary

Ms. Jean Garrity Leary, age 85, passed away Tuesday March 12, 2019 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Monday, March 18, at George Brothers Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time.

She loved her pets, especially her many cats and her dog Grace, spending time in her flower garden and at Philpott Lake. She was an avid bridge player.  For many years she traveled the world with her husband and children in the US Foreign Service.

She is survived by her children Chris Frandock (Lisa), Patricia Pope (Troy), Catherine Frandock, and Matthew Frandock; special niece Barbara Brown; sister Elsa Troxler; brother John Stupak (Michelle); grandchildren Caroline, Sarah, Kristen, Autumn and Alexandria.  Also surviving are a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave. Greensboro, NC  27405.
