Patricia Joy (McCluskey) Mann

Patricia McCluskey Mann, 84, of Greensboro died peacefully Sunday evening, October 29, 2017 at her home.

Funeral will be 12:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Westminster Gardens.

Patricia was a charter member of Christ Wesleyan Church where her father served as pastor for more than forty years. She attended Greensboro Women’s College, now known as UNCG and the former Southern Pilgrim College in Kernersville. Following her education, Patricia worked with Western Electric for several years and went on to be employed with E. N. Beard Hardwoods, Inc. In 1991, she retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance. Later in life, she reached out to those around her through social media including Facebook. She would brag about her 1, 751 Facebook friends that became her ministry and her window on the world.

Mrs. Mann was preceded in death by her husband, Jason Donald Mann, Sr., parents, Reverend Robert and Naomi H. McCluskey, and sister, Harriett June McCluskey Pegg.

She is survived by her children, Jason Donald Mann, Jr. and wife, Lois of Greensboro, Robert Elzie Mann of High Point, Elizabeth Mann Eubanks of Randleman, Anna Mann Soudrette and husband, Mark of Stoney Creek, and Lori Mann Vaden of Pinnacle; along with six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
