Rachel Dickens Beaver

Mrs. Rachel Beaver, 86, died Monday, December 11, 2017, at Blue Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Martinsville, VA after several years of declining health.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at George Brothers Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 pm Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Rachel was born February 16, 1931 in Guilford County. She retired from the Guilford County Courthouse and was previously employed by Pet Diary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Beaver; her father, David Dickens and her mother, Cassie Leonard.

Survivors include her cousin, Linda Cassada and husband Terry of Ridgeway, VA and several other extended family members.
