Mom and Dad ( Bernice and Ed Pentecost) talked about Carol and Raeford all the time when they were alive. Their friendship was priceless. When we met the Fields we felt like we had known them all our life. They were precious people. Our lives were enriched by knowing them. Our prayers are sent out to family and friends

I am so sorry for your loss. I, along with many others will miss seeing his
smiling face at the Tank and Tummy. He was always so kind and spoke in
such a gentle tone. He and my dads family (Ed Dunham) went back
a lot of years. We talked about the good ice cream my Grandma Dunham
made at the old well house at the old home place off Fieldview Road.
Of course, as he said, it was hand cranked back then and grandma did
all the cranking. I told him that her banana ice cream was my favorite.
I think her vanilla was his favorite.
That's was in the days when he helped my grandparents on the farm.
He told me this one morning at the Tank and Tummy. I think he said it
was the first he saw you, he said to himself, I am going to marry
that girl. And marry you he did. I remember growing up how
pretty you were and still are I'm sure.
We will all miss him.
Again, I am just so sorry for you and your families loss.
