Rebecca Yow Obituary

Rebecca Sheppard Yow, 97, of Greensboro died Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Ashton Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The family will have a memorial gathering from 3-5 PM on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Rebecca retired from WFMY TV.

She is preceded in death by husbands Goley W Yow and William A. Myrick; son, Lynn Myrick; and great-grandson Wilson Daniel Cobb.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Cobb (Bob), sister Dorothy Brewer grandchildren, Danny Cobb (Hannah), Alexandria Smithey (Greg), great grandchildren, Emmagrace Cobb, Chloe Cobb and Alyssa Smithey.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
