Retta "Sue" (Simpson) Teague

Retta “Sue” Teague, 77, died Monday, May 6, 2019 at Duke University Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 300 Knox Road in McLeansville, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Teague was born May 8, 1941 in Monroe, NC to the late Richard and Christine Simpson. 

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth E. Teague; daughters, Robin (Steve) Cobb, and Pam (Bobby) Teague; sister, Jeanette Hardman; brother, Charles Simpson; grandchildren, Danny (Tracy) Cobb, Alex (Kristen) Cobb, and Kela Teague; great-grandchildren, Porter and Logan Cobb;  nephew, Billy (Sheri) Teague; and many other beloved nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 5120 Burlington Road, Greensboro, NC 27405.
