Robert Wayne Staley

Bobby Staley, 75, of Greensboro died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his residence.

A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Green Hill Cemetery.

Bobby is retired from Cone Mills-White Oak Plant after forty-seven years. He was known for his love of baseball and NASCAR. He also had a love for his dogs including Scooter whom he talked of often.

Bobby is survived by the love of his life, Lavonia Wyrick of the home; son, Chris Staley of Elon; sister, Anna Jessup of Greensboro; grandchildren, Heather Ennis and Aaron Staley; and a host of loving friends, neighbors, and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Saturday, January 5, 2019 at George Brothers Funeral Service.
