Robert "Bob" Dallas McNeill

Mr. Robert “Bob” Dallas McNeill went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, December 4, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at Lake Brandt Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Pearman officiating. Entombment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with military rites performed by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Bob was born May 7, 1949 in Randolph County to the late Dallas Allen and Lucy Helen Ward McNeill. He was a member of Lake Brandt Baptist Church and was a Vietnam Veteran serving his country in the US Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn McNeill and a daughter, Helen Jean McNeill.

Survivors include his children, Pam Oakley (Allen) and Dallas McNeill (Kim); 5 grandchildren, Kristin, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Dylan and Enoch; 2 great grandchildren, Carson and Connor; 2 brothers, Jim McNeill (Elaine) and Gary McNeill (Debbie); a sister, Dianne King (Ronnie) and several special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:45 Friday, prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Brandt Baptist Church, 1901 Trosper Road, Greensboro, NC 27455.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Wesley Long Cancer Center and to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, including a special nurse Renee.
