Rosa Rogers Greeeson

Mrs. Rosa Rogers Greeson, 85, went home to be with her Lord Monday, May 22, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sharpe Road Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Alton Cook and Dr. Barry Nealy officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.

Rosa was born September 3, 1931 in South Boston, VA to the late Rufus and Betty Thaxton Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Greeson; 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty Garrett (Steve); grandchildren, Bret Garrett (Linda) and Jamie Garrett; a great grandchild, Zoey; a sister, Anne Seward; a brother-in-law; a sister-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sharpe Road Baptist Church, Child Development Center, 1908 Sharpe Road, Greensboro, NC 27406.
