Wanda Fleming Stevens

Mrs. Wanda Snuggs Stevens, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Beacon Place.

A funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday at Shining Light Baptist Church.  She will be laid to rest alongside her husband of 53 years Carl Stevens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Stevens was a faithful member of Shining Light Baptist Church since 1975.  She sang in the choir, attended the Ladies Circle and the Widows Class, which she enjoyed.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Zula Snuggs; sister JoAnn Copple; brother Bobby Snuggs.

Mrs. Stevens is survived by her sons Donald Stevens (Vicki) of Greensboro, and David Stevens (Kim) of Pleasant Garden; sister Sybil Chrismon; brother Wayne Snuggs; grandchildren Cassidy, Carleigh, Bryson, and Nolan Stevens.  Also surviving are five nieces and two nephews.
