William Bobby Rudisill

Mr. William B. Rudisill, 87 of Greensboro passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Homeplace of Burlington.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at George Brothers Funeral Service with Dr. Alton Cook officiating. Inurnment will follow in Gilmore Memorial Park with military rites performed by the Randolph County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 10-11 Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Bill was born February 3, 1931 in Gaston County to the late John Arvle and Virginia Martin Rudisill. He served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, retired from AT&T and attended Sharpe Road Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister and 1 grandchild.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Irene McGee Rudisill of the home; 3 sons, Steven M. Rudisill (Elaine) of Charlotte, James A. Rudisill (Janet) of Jefferson and David W. Rudisill (Jill) of Yanceyville; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
