Mrs. Amy Leigh Causey Martin, affectionately known as "Momma Cat" by many, 62, passed away Friday afternoon, September 6, 2024 at GrayBrier Nursing and Rehab with her family by her side. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 11:00 am at Floral Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Joey Baynes officiating. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, John and Opal Causey; and sister, Glenda Meindl. Amy was a loving mother who dedicated her life to the care and well-being of her children and family. She loved to cook and could cook like no one else. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Johnny Martin; children Bryson Garland (Alesha), Austin Garland, Kaleigh Martin, Olivia Martin, Erica Spencer (Corey), and Johnny Martin; grandchildren, Abby, Hayden, Nova, Nora, Ellie, and soon to be born, Della; niece, Emily; nephews, Ryan, Wes, and Bob; brothers, Johnny Causey (Gloria) and Mike Causey (Cindy); as well as numerous friends and family whom she loved. The family will be available following the graveside service to meet with friends and family.
