Mr. Benny Gordon, 86, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Clapp's Nursing Facility. The celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Good Shepherd Church, 4453 Sumner Church Road, Greensboro where he was a faithful member. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, US Hwy 29 North, Greensboro on Wednesday March 22, 2023, at 11:00am.

Benny was born February 11, 1937 in Guilford County. He retired from AT&T with 34 years of service. He served in the National Guard for 6 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother, but most of all, he was a dedicated Christian who loved and served the Lord. His heart's desire was to see people come to know Jesus as their personal savior.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen "Tootie" Britt Gordon of 36 years and his parents, Joe and Blanche Gordon; and sister, Betty Jo Gordon.

He is survived by his son, Bradley Gordon; daughter, Dana Chamberlain; granddaughter, Brittany Blake (Tony) ; grandsons, Brayden Gordon and Nathan Chamberlain; great granddaughter, Avery Blake; brother, Buddy Gordon (Donese); lifelong friends, Adrian Haris and Marvin and Kathy Huber..
