Mr. Billy "Pete" Jack Miller, Jr., 66, of Climax, passed away June 24, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Tommy Kidd officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Pete was born on April 23, 1957, in Guilford County, to Billy and Dorothy Miller. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his son, Billy "BJ" Jack Miller, III. He was owner and operator of Miller Roofing Company and was of the Baptist faith. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pete is survived by his mother, Dorothy "Dot" Stewart; his two sons, Billy Lee Miller and wife and Derrick McCray Miller; his sisters, Rebecca Diane Peeden, Brenda "Sissy" Gilmore, Dona "Smackdown" Garner (Randy) and Lillian "Red" Wilmoth (Kevin); he also has five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, five nephews and six nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Randolph County Hospice.
